Scott W. Hamilton is co-founder and managing partner of Seton Education Partners. As head of the Pisces Foundation for eight years, Hamilton designed and then led the effort to grow the Knowledge Is Power Program (KIPP) from two schools in 2000 to more than 80 of the best known and celebrated inner-city public schools in America. Previous to his philanthropic work, he held posts in the White House, the U.S. Department of Education, and the Massachusetts Department of Education, where, at age 30, he was named the Associate Commissioner of Education. His 2008 Thomas B. Fordham Institute report on Who Will Save America’s Urban Catholic Schools? received national press coverage, including an endorsement from the Washington Post editorial page.
Stephanie Saroki de García

Stephanie Saroki de García is co-founder and general partner of Seton Education Partners. Most recently, Saroki de García launched and for over five years directed the Philanthropy Roundtable’s K-12 education programs, where she spearheaded a series of conferences, strategy sessions, and publications on breakthroughs in education philanthropy. She co-wrote Saving America's Urban Catholic Schools: A Guide for Donors and also served on the strategic planning committee for the Archdiocese of New York’s parochial school system, chairing the committee on school leadership. Previously, Saroki de García was a Teach For America corps member in Oakland, California, where she taught high school English. She attended Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government as a Dean’s Fellow. While completing her Master’s degree at the Kennedy School, Saroki de García worked at the Office of Management and Budget. Saroki de García serves on the board of the Jesuit Virtual Learning Academy.
Amy Jon Ryan

Amy Jon Ryan was a Teach For America corps member in Las Vegas, serving 2nd and 4th graders, over 75% of whom were English Language Learners. As a teacher, Ryan led her students to achieve an average of 1.5 years of growth in reading over a one-year period; initiated and led in afterschool tutoring program for students in literacy and math; created and advised a school yearbook; co-created, authored, and taught a criterion referenced test preparation curriculum used throughout the school; served as a basketball coach; and served as a Response to Intervention case manager, responsible for testing students school wide, interpreting and analyzing data, targeting struggling readers with proper interventions, and providing training for teachers. Ryan also served as the liaison between the Clark County School District Math Department and her school administration. Ryan earned a Masters of Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Nevada and graduated cum laude from Gonzaga University, with a bachelor of arts in psychology. At Gonzaga, she participated in the universtiy's Comprehensive Leadership Program and served as a Spanish tutor, resident assistant, and assistant resident director. Amy's recognitions include: Teacher of the Trimester, Excellence Award in Elementary Education at Gonzaga University School of Education, International Honor Society in Education, and Mary Stuart Rogers Scholar Award. She is a cantor at her local parish and has sung in choirs from a young age. She also enjoys hiking and running any chance she can.
Matt Bowman

Matt Bowman is a program manager of Seton Education Partner's Phaedrus Initiative. Bowman served as a Teach for America corps member for two years in the Bronx, NY, where he taught 8th grade social studies and science, and then KIPP Bayview Academy in San Francisco, where he taught 6th grade writing. For the last five years, as a blogger and event producer, Bowman spearheaded conferences for emerging technologies in Silicon Valley with media startups AlwaysOn, VentureBeat and Vator. TV. Shortly before joining Seton, Bowman co-founded EdSurge, a news hub and community resource for education technology startup professionals.
