Seton Education Partners is honored to announce that it has been selected as a recipient of a $180,000 grant from the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation, which recognizes and supports our work to design the Brilla Horizon Family Resource Center and the Alumni Career Pathway Program. This funding will catalyze community-driven planning and expansion of critical support for Brilla students, families, and alumni.

The Mother Cabrini Health Foundation’s year-end grantmaking supports nonprofit organizations across New York State that strive to strengthen health, education, and community outcomes, with a focus on reducing inequities and addressing social determinants of health. With this latest round of grants, the Foundation has invested hundreds of millions of dollars in programs that uplift underserved communities and build pathways to stability and opportunity.

“We are deeply grateful to the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation for this meaningful investment,” said Yeime Valle, Executive Director of Brilla Schools, an initiative of Seton Education Partners. “This grant allows us to partner closely with families, alumni, educators, and community leaders to launch the Brilla Horizon Family Resource Center–a centralized hub for support, connection, and advocacy–and to develop an Alumni Career Pathway Program that expands access to post-secondary education and meaningful career opportunities.”

The Brilla Family Resource Center will serve as a welcoming, accessible space where families can access a range of supports, including health and wellness resources, navigation assistance, and community-based services. The Alumni Career Pathway Program will build structured opportunities for Brilla graduates to explore careers, gain professional development, and connect with mentors and employers, strengthening long-term economic mobility and community impact.
