Seton Teaching Fellows is a lay apostolate responding to the need for academic excellence and faithful catechesis in underserved communities. As a Fellow, you become a missionary educator forming our youngest disciples while being formed yourself through intentional community. If you are excited about the opportunity to serve an urgent mission faithful to the Church, consider being a Seton Teaching Fellow. Fellows Application Process

1. Apply online

  • Access our 2024-25 application.
  • Enter personal information, academic history, and submit an updated resume. 
  • Answer a few short questions explaining your interest in our mission.

2. INITIAL interview

Find out if you advance to our first round within one week of submitting your application.

  • Sign up for an interview slot with a member of our Seton Teaching Fellows Team. You will receive a calendar invite that will include a link for Zoom.
  • All initial interviews last 60 minutes. You will learn more about our mission and share how your experiences relate to our three pillars of faith, education, and community. 

3. Submit references

Find out if you advance to the next round within one week of your initial interview.

  • Submit the names and contact information for three references.
  • Choose references that can speak to your experiences related to our mission and three pillars of faith, community, and education.

4. FINAL INTERVIEW

Find out if you advance to the final round of our process within one week of your initial interview.

  • The final interview will take place over Zoom with a  senior member of our Seton Teaching Fellows team or a member of our Seton Network.
  • Interviews will last approximately 45 minutes. Once you sign up for an interview slot, you will receive a calendar invite that will include a link for Zoom.

5. FINAL DISCERNMENT

Within one week of your final interview and submission of references, you will receive your admissions decision.

  • Ready to accept? You will receive a detailed offer letter.
  • Take the opportunity to talk with a member of our team who will work with you to prayerfully consider and discern your acceptance.
  • Share any special circumstances or needs in your discernment. Adjusted timelines for unique circumstances are possible on a case-by-case basis.

We are excited to offer Come and See opportunities for candidates and accepted Fellows to visit our schools and communities in person. Let a member of the STF Team know if you are interested in attending. Note: travel stipends will be provided!
