Daniela Gandara serves as an El Camino program leader for the Brilla Schools Network. Originally from Mexico, she moved with her family to the United States, where she discovered her vocation to consecrate her life to God. She has had the blessing of accompanying families and children in the shanty towns of Lima, the Andes Mountains of Peru, and among immigrant families in San Antonio, Texas. Her work as a missionary and as a teacher has deepened her conviction that service and education are sacred opportunities to share God’s love. Daniela holds a B.A. in Philosophy and Religious Education. She enjoys spending time in prayer, cooking, and baking, and finds joy in bringing people together around the table.
