Kari Hancock is the Multi-Tier Systems of Support Manager Manager for Brilla Schools Network. She was born and raised in Southern California where she discovered her love for education through volunteering at an after-school tutoring center. Kari attended University of Texas to pursue a degree in Elementary Education, and started her journey in the classroom as a third grade ELA public school teacher. Kari moved to New York where she continued her tenure as a teacher and received an MEd: Elementary Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University. Kari joined Brilla Schools in 2022 as an instructional coach for High Dosage Tutoring. She is particularly passionate about early intervention and believes that literacy is the cornerstone to success, empowering individuals to accomplish anything they set their minds to. In her free time, Kari loves to read historical fiction novels, traveling, yoga, and horseback riding.
