A New Way Forward

Education that nurtures the whole child: mind, body and spirit

Since the 1970’s, an average of one thousand Catholic schools close every decade. As this trend continues, children in underserved communities will be left with few—if any—options beyond the failing public schools in their neighborhoods.

Our parent organization, Seton Education Partners, expands opportunities for parents in underserved communities to choose an academically excellent, character rich, and—for those who seek it—vibrantly Catholic education for their children through creativity, innovation, talented leadership, and public dollars. Seton Teaching Fellows is critical to children have the opportunity to learn about God on a campus that will never close.

"I know and I can attest to you the effectiveness of Seton Education
Partners. I see it in action in our own schools here in the Bronx—some
of the toughest neighborhoods around. A creative, innovative
organization continuing the Church’s great legacy of teaching. I love it!"

- Cardinal Timothy Dolan, Archbishop of New York

We started in 2014 with
3 Fellows in one school.

To address the need for both excellent education and faithful
catechesis in under-resourced areas, we recruited our first set of
Fellows to serve at our flagship school in The Bronx.
Now we have nearly 60 Fellows at 11 schools in 3 states.

Now we have nearly 60 Fellows
at 11 schools in 3 states.

We’ve experienced immense growth, but we will need many more
Fellows over the next few years as our network of schools grow,
and new models are launched.
Respond to an urgent need:
We believe Fellows are most effective together.

What makes the Fellowship extraordinary isn’t just the work
—it’s that you never do it alone. Fellows live together, serve
together, and grow together. Moving to a new city and
stepping into a classroom for the first time can be daunting,
but in community the challenges feel lighter, the victories
shine brighter, and the friendships last a lifetime.
