Inspired by the Four Marks of the Catholic Church, STF’s ‘Four Marks’ are a set of characteristics that are inseparably linked with each other, indicating essential features of an STF missionary. Our formation exists to accompany, develop, and challenge Fellows to serve students, families, and each other by imitating the love of Christ the Teacher in underserved communities and beyond.

Believes that God works for good in all things, detached from success.

Continually aware of a personal call from Christ to serve His Church.

Acts as an indispensable part of a particular community.

Able to choose the good for themselves and others.
Let Christ the Teacher help you discern your next step after college. Whether it’s with STF or something else, discern how God is calling you to make the most of the next year.

Why did you become a Fellow? Evangelization can come in many forms, from leading a Bible study to inviting students to play hacky sack after Mass. The variety of ways there are to spread the Gospel is something that really excites me! Seton Teaching Fellows are in a position to encounter children and families in a very direct and intentional way. In addition to serving as role models for these kids, the fellows are given the special opportunity to teach the kids about God’s amazing creation. There is so much potential to spread God’s Love through teaching!
