Cynthia Valencia serves as the Seton Texas director of programs. She earned a bachelor of interdisciplinary studies degree from the University of Texas-Pan American in 2012 and a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in 2021. After working for six years as a fifth-grade math teacher and transitioning to an instructional coach for the following two years, she found her passion for helping students, teachers, and families in a wide range of capacities. As a devout Catholic, she aspires to have an opportunity to provide greater support to her community through the soon-to-be-launched El Camino program in Mission, Texas. Cynthia, her husband, and their two children reside in Mission, Texas.
