Anisa Muñoz

Anisa Muñoz serves as the director of middle school student services at Brilla Public Charter Schools, where she oversees special education, multilingual learner services and behavioral interventions across the network’s middle schools. In this role, she ensures that all students, particularly those with diverse academic, linguistic, and social-emotional needs receive high-quality, equitable support that empowers them to thrive both in and out of the classroom.

With a deep commitment to educational equity, Anisa brings a robust background in special education, systems-building, and instructional coaching. She partners closely with campus leaders to strengthen Tier 2 and Tier 3 academic and behavioral supports, enhance role clarity across Student Services Teams, and maintain full compliance with all state and federal mandates related to IEPs, 504 Plans, and student wellbeing.

Anisa leads and coaches Assistant Principals of Student Services, coordinates cross-disciplinary teams of specialists, and plays a pivotal role in implementing Brilla’s Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), crisis response protocols, and culturally responsive practices rooted in the network’s classical approach to character and academic formation.

Known for fostering strong, collaborative partnerships with families, staff, and external providers, Anisa helps build inclusive school communities where dignity, accountability, and joy are at the center. Her leadership reflects Brilla’s mission to form young people of good character and spirit who are prepared to excel in high school, college, and beyond.
