Susana Weyer

Susana Alconero Weyer is the senior director of advancement for the Brilla Schools Network at Seton Education Partners. Susana brings a wealth of experience in education, nonprofit leadership, and international development. Prior to joining Seton, she served as the middle school director at Seven Acres Montessori in Wilton, CT, where she successfully relaunched the middle school program, doubling enrollment and implementing strategic improvements in decision-making and community engagement. She also served as the Global Studies and World Language Director, where she developed and implemented a project-based Global Studies curriculum, launched an international virtual assembly in collaboration with global institutions, and advised student delegations at the Montessori Model United Nations (MMUN).

Before her work in education, Susana spent over a decade at the United Nations, where she held key roles in international outreach and policy development. As director for networks and outreach at the UN Global Compact, she organized global forums, facilitated multi-sector partnerships, and managed knowledge-sharing initiatives. She also played a critical role in
launching the first Global Compact Network, expanding the initiative’s global reach. In the Department of Peacekeeping Operations, she contributed to policy development, ensuring clarity, cultural sensitivity, and alignment with international objectives.

Susana holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University, and a bachelor of arts in Political Science and International Relations from Minnesota State University, where she was awarded the Sponberg Scholarship for her contributions to the promotion of world peace. She lives in Wilton, Connecticut, with her husband and their three children.
